Toro
Location
The Alcazar de Toro is located in the town of the same name, in the province of Zamora.
History
was built in the fifteenth century, on the above strengths of the XIII and XIV. It housed the court of the Princess of Asturias, Joan of Trastámara, in their war against the Catholic Kings. The victory of Ferdinand at the gates of the city (1476) was effectively the end of this war.
Condition
is currently restored and rehabilitated. School house the winemaking future.
Ownership and Use
is owned by the City of Toro, and is used for cultural activities such as municipal offices.

Protection
Under the protection of the general declaration of the Decree of April 22, 1949, and Law 16/1985 on English Historical Heritage.
